What have we prepared for you in this year’s last issue of Bridge? Christmas, of course: this year, we’ll take a look at what traditions and activities are popular in the United States, and you’ll also find a fistful of Christmas idioms and riddles. Otherwise, the magazine is all about Scotland, whether it’s another installment of our series on English-speaking countries from A to Z, an expedition to the Scottish islands once colonized by the Vikings, or a celebration of the Scottish New Year. To mark the end of the Czech Presidency, we’ve included an article on the European Union, and to lighten things up, we’ve included the American electronic duo Odesza or the personal story of another foreigner who moved to the Czech Republic.
