Today we’re excited to send out the September double issue of Gate for this coming school year. We really hope that you’ll find plenty of interesting and useful topics inside, as well as new inspiration for your English lessons. In the new year-long series “Roadtrip USA”, we’re taking a look at the different regions of the US. In September we’re starting off with an overview of the whole country. And we’re staying in America with another article about a typical American high school according to the experiences of one Czech student, Denisa Ciprysova. For food lovers we have an article on British cuisine, and tech lovers will enjoy the article on flying cars. On top of that, we’ve got stories about the lives of the rich and famous: a profile of the rising young star, actor, and singer Ansel Elgort, who you surely know from the film The Fault in Our Stars. Or you can read about people who have found success even without the benefit of education. Finally, you can enter our new year-long poster contest with the theme “My World and My Life”, or check your grammar skills with our review tests.
