The first issue of Bridge magazine for the new school year is coming on August 28. We hope that Bridge will continue to bring you interesting and entertaining reading as well as helping you improve your English, as it has for years. So what’s new with Bridge? We are starting a new series devoted to travel to English-speaking countries, the first of which will take you on a trip to the Southern US. As Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, we’re taking a look at that country and going on a tour of its national parks. And because we don’t want classical literature to be boring, we are proud to present the famous Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth in the form of a comic and audio play. We’re also visiting the British royal family, the laboratories where food flavoring is made, and players of the newest urban sport, bike polo. On top of all that, we’re opening up a new year-long contest for the best short story, called “Use Your Imagination”. We wish you inspirational reading and all the best for the new school year!
