St Davids Peninsula
Pembrokeshire is a county in the west of Wales and also the site of the only coastal park in Great Britain. Pembrokeshire National Park covers an area of 620 square kilometres and contains everything a tourist can wish for: dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and offshore islands.
Tourism is not new to the area. Up to the 16th century the monastery in the location of St. Davids Cathedral in the far west of Pembrokeshire was a very popular destination for pilgrims.
