Chill Pill
The non-literal use is feeling chill (= feeling happy, relaxed and calm). If you chill out, you relax and enjoy yourself. If you tell someone else to chill out, or to take a chill pill, it means stop being angry or stressed. A chilly look is one that’s very unfriendly.
Catching the Sun
If you say someone has caught the sun, it means they are sunburnt (negative meaning).
If you talk about wanting to catch the sun, it means you want to get somewhere to enjoy the last of the light before the sun sets. If you talk about wanting to catch some sun, it means you want to sunbathe.
Away From the Crowds
off the beaten track: in a place where not many tourists go
